David Bennett is co-owner and co-editor of Ancient and Future Catholics, and ChurchYear.Net, and a member-manager of Saint Hilary Communications. He lives in Ohio, and graduated from Ohio University with a B.A. in Psychology, and from Emory University with a Master of Theological Studies. Currently, he is pursuing a post-Master's certificate in Religious Education. He has been inducted into numerous honor societies, including Phi Beta Kappa, Phi Alpha Theta (history), Eta Sigma Phi (Greek and Latin classics), Psi Chi (Psychology), and Theta Phi (theology). While at Ohio University, he studied Psychology, classical Greek, Philosophy, History, and Biblical Criticism. At Emory University, he studied liturgy, Christian History, Greek, Latin, Christian Thought, and Anglican Studies. David was officially received and confirmed into the Catholic Church on August 14, 2004, after spending four years in the Anglican Communion. He is a member of the Fellowship of Catholic Scholars. Currently, he is the religion department chair at a Catholic High School. He enjoys being with his family, wife Jennifer, friends, and 3 cats. He enjoys running, coffee, golf, the outdoors, target shooting, reading, writing, and health. He takes way too many supplements. David has written and spoken on a variety of topics, including Sacraments, the Eucharist, the Bible, the Church, the Charismatic Movement, Inclusive Language, the Nicene Creed, Postmodern Ecumenism, Evangelism, Liturgical Worship, his conversion to the Catholic Church, Christmas, Easter, Lent, Trinity Sunday, and many more topics in a variety of Catholic Articles, Church Year Informational Materials, and blog posts.
